ד"ר יורם מרקוס הוא רופא, ביולוג ויוצר רב-תחומי ישראלי, אשר שימש בעבר כרופא בבית החולים מאיר. לאחר קריירה מחקרית ובעקבותיה רפואית שארכה למעלה משני עשורים, עבר לעולם היצירה ויצר כתסריטאי, במאי ומפיק עצמאי סרטי קולנוע, סדרות, ספרים, ומוזיקה מקורית. יורם נולד בישראל בשנת 1945, לימודיו האקדמיים היו באוניברסיטה העברית בירושלים ובאוניברסיטת תל אביב.
